    Collaboration with the Student Learning Support Unit 

    About the Collaboration: 
    The National Educational Development Center (NEDC) partners with the Student Learning Support Unit at the College of Education – Qatar University to delivera series of training workshops aimed at developing students’ academic and professional skills. These workshops are tailored to address students’ learning needs and align with modern educational practices. 
    Topics covered include integration of artificial intelligence in education, differentiated instruction strategies, and the development of higher-order thinking skills. The initiative equips future teachers with the competencies required to contribute effectively to educational improvement in Qatar. 
    This collaboration is implemented on a regular basis throughout the academic year as part of a joint plan between the Center and the Unit to ensure the continuous development of student teachers’ skills. 

    Objectives of the Collaboration: 


    • Address the training and skill-development needs identified by students. 


    • Enhance students’ ability to apply modern instructional strategies, including the use of technology and artificial intelligence in teaching and assessment. 


    • Develop classroom management skills and enable students to handle behavioral challenges effectively. 


    • Foster higher-order thinking skills such as analysis, critical thinking, and creativity among future teachers. 


    • Strengthen students’ personal and social skills to promote academic success and effective study habits. 

    Target Group: 
    Students of the College of Education at Qatar University from various disciplines and academic levels who seek to develop their academic and professional competencies and enhance their readiness for educational practice.
