Dear Students, Faculty, partners, and Friends of the College of Medicine,
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Qatar university, College of Medicine which was founded by an Amiri decree in 2015 and has successfully graduated the 5th batch during the current year (2025), after completing the six-year medical program and earned the MD degree.
Our college has a proud tradition of excellence in medical education, research, patient care and collaboration with the community. The college is driven by passionate, dedicated faculty and resilient students.
The curriculum of our college has been developed in a way to be student-centered, integrated, and competency based. It aims to provide a learning experience that equips the graduates to meet the health care needs in Qatar, Gulf region, and beyond. The curriculum is delivered and taught by expert faculty with both national and international experience, both in teaching and research. To support the learning process, the college has been equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and convenient classrooms and facilities
We take pride in preparing for future physicians who combine scientific excellence with compassion, ethical responsibility, and a commitment to lifelong learning, so that they will be not only clinically competent but culturally competent armed with the values of professionalism, service, and integrity.

As Dean, I am privileged to work in Qater University which is a beacon of knowledge, research, and excellence, I am as well, honored to work with visionary leadership and to serve alongside dedicated faculty, talented students, and committed staff who work tirelessly to advance the mission of the college.
